By popular demand we have scheduled an educational meeting on Dairy goats! We have a few different Club members who have generously offered to share their knowledge and experience with us. And don’t forget – everything here will also apply to sheep – we need a local sheep dairy!

Friday April 20th beginning at 6:30pm – we expect to run about 2 hours. It will be at the Robinson Tract Community Center at 4443 Robinson Tract Rd, Pulaski.

Kim Driggs, our Club’s only Herdshare will be our main speaker and is very knowledgeable on every aspect of dairy goats. Sarah Smiley will be talking to us about the wonderful soaps and lotions she and her sister Cindy Kolb make. Club Vice President Charlie Stimac will speak about his experiences milking goats. And Club Member Shellie Buchanan will bring a demonstration that her wonderfully enterprising children made entitled: “Can you milk a dairy goat using household products?”.

Come on out and learn something new!  If you haven’t joined the Club yet – now is the perfect time!
